"God only knows what is to happen. I see nothing impossible in that supposition. And I see things wonderfully contrived sometimes to make us happy. Where could they find such objects as in America for the exercise of their enchanting art? Especially the lady, who paints landscapes so inimirably. She wants only subjects worthy of immortality to render her pencil immortal. " --Thomas Jefferson, A Dialogue Between The Head and The Heart

    SPECIAL BULLETIN: CAMEL SAFETY

Bedouins in Israel's Negev Desert are protecting their camels from collision through the application of phosphorescent safety strips, similar to those used on bicycles and farm equipment. Police commander Yossi Golan is quoted as saying, "The camel safety problem is a serious one here," and this blog believes he means it. If it's not hate-spewing Palestinian terrorists, it's camel-ramming 18 wheelers.

Recap: Doesn't "camel-ramming" sound really, really, really dirty? This blog sure thinks so.
