    SPANISH HOUSE ARREST

    The mayor of a town in southern Spain that this blog cannot pronounce barred men from going out on Thursday nights in an effort to create a time for women of the town to let their hair down, although this blog does not see WHY women would do that in an atmosphere devoid of doting men to affectionately play with it. "In future Thursday will be a day for women," said mayor Javier Checa, who doesn't speak much English. "Then women can go out and enjoy themselves and the men will stay at home."
