"God only knows what is to happen. I see nothing impossible in that supposition. And I see things wonderfully contrived sometimes to make us happy. Where could they find such objects as in America for the exercise of their enchanting art? Especially the lady, who paints landscapes so inimirably. She wants only subjects worthy of immortality to render her pencil immortal. " --Thomas Jefferson, A Dialogue Between The Head and The Heart

    BOYCOTT THE MUSIC INDUSTRY

...not because the Recording Industry Association of America is suing individual file-sharers, but because every single one of the five biggest hits on the Billboard 100 chart really, really sucks. At No. 1 is ex-Destiny's Child Beyonce Knowles (who goes by just "Beyonce,") with the summer anthem that some find extremely annoying, yet others really hate it, "Crazy in Love." Apparently, the music world has shunned proper spelling of English words, as evidenced by the No. 3 song, Ashanti's "Rock Wit U," and the fourth-highest single, "Right Thurr," by someone or something named "Chingy." It must have something to do with artistic expression. What, you say these are rap and R&B acts? There goes the "artistic" conjecture.
