"God only knows what is to happen. I see nothing impossible in that supposition. And I see things wonderfully contrived sometimes to make us happy. Where could they find such objects as in America for the exercise of their enchanting art? Especially the lady, who paints landscapes so inimirably. She wants only subjects worthy of immortality to render her pencil immortal. " --Thomas Jefferson, A Dialogue Between The Head and The Heart

    UN-AUTHOR-IZED VERSION

The nationwide buzz over Hillary Clinton's book, Lving History,"accelerated to a frantic pace today, as this blog was subjected to hearing about it more times than it cares to remember. This blog has not read Hillary's book, nor does it believe that Hillary herself actually read the whole thing, since two ghostwriters did the bulk of the writing.

So for the bargain price of $8 million that publishing house Simon and Schuster paid Hillary, she basically allowed two real writers to conduct an interview in which her quotes were rendered as first-person dialogue.

This blog wonders how much the actual authors made on this deal.
