"God only knows what is to happen. I see nothing impossible in that supposition. And I see things wonderfully contrived sometimes to make us happy. Where could they find such objects as in America for the exercise of their enchanting art? Especially the lady, who paints landscapes so inimirably. She wants only subjects worthy of immortality to render her pencil immortal. " --Thomas Jefferson, A Dialogue Between The Head and The Heart

    SONG LYRIC OF THE DAY

"There ain't no doubt it no ones mind
That loves the finest thing around
    Whisper something soft and kind
And hey babe the sky's on fire, I'm dyin'
Ain't I goin' to Carolina in my mind"
--James Taylor, "Carolina in My Mind"

Another song that is much less impressive lyrically than most people realize. This doesn't even make SENSE! Taylor's idea of whispering something soft and kind is "Hey, babe, the sky's on fire, I'm dyin?" Real sentimental. This blog is going to go play Frisbee with the Sweet Baby James album.
