"God only knows what is to happen. I see nothing impossible in that supposition. And I see things wonderfully contrived sometimes to make us happy. Where could they find such objects as in America for the exercise of their enchanting art? Especially the lady, who paints landscapes so inimirably. She wants only subjects worthy of immortality to render her pencil immortal. " --Thomas Jefferson, A Dialogue Between The Head and The Heart

    ONE NATION, UNDER BRUCE

This blog, in an effort to improve the tense situation in the Middle East, went to see Bruce Almighty earlier tonight, and this movie is GOOD. In fact, it's B-E-A-Utiful (Carrey's new catchphrase, effectively replacing "Alrighty then") Morgan Freeman played a benevolent deity with an attitude, Carrey's Bruce Nolan was spastic but familiar and Jennifer Aniston acted superbly, although this blog thinks her skill is wasted on another supporting actress role. She should be acting the heroine. But the movie was classic Carrey, goofball comedy at its finest, and the Israeli-Palestinian relations have taken a marked upswing. Coincedence? This blog thinks not.
