"God only knows what is to happen. I see nothing impossible in that supposition. And I see things wonderfully contrived sometimes to make us happy. Where could they find such objects as in America for the exercise of their enchanting art? Especially the lady, who paints landscapes so inimirably. She wants only subjects worthy of immortality to render her pencil immortal. " --Thomas Jefferson, A Dialogue Between The Head and The Heart

    THE DEMOCRATS NEED MATT TATE

Because Tate, 18, knows how to win an election. The teen politico exercised his right to vote for school board members only a day after his coming of age, and after noticing that no one was on the ballot for school district clerk and writing in basketballer Allen Iverson (who is a spouse-abusing ass, but that is beside the point), Tate made a sign with the visionary slogan: "Matt Tate: Because You Have No Choice." He was subsequently elected with 31 votes.
